Rocks from the City

We found out today that the city will provide us with rock for the front yard. We don't want to grass the area affected by the construction because of the slope. We planned on putting in perma-bark, but since this is free we'll take it. I guess that leaves me more money for other things!

This will be rocked and then planted with shrubs and ornamental grasses.
This will be rocked with shrubs.
These old flowerbeds will be torn out and planted with grass and widening of the sidewalk.

This will be regrassed and leave a small strip for flowers.
