A Couple of Hair Related Giveaways
So you all know how much I enjoy doing Faith's hair. So a few of my favorite hair blogs are having giveaways. First, Adopt a Do is giving away a great beanie in which you review one of her hairstyles. One of my favorites is the Ponytail of Twists. I have used this several times of Faith before I cut her hair. It is a quick and easy style that always looks really good. It is one of those styles that looks like a bunch of effort when it isn't! Second, The Story of a Princess and her Hair is giving a $20 gift certificate away to Flowerz in Her Hair. Wow does she have some amazing hair accessories. So go check them out and see what you can win!
Third, All Things Ribbon is having another amazing giveaway where you can win a wonderful dress and matcihng bow. I wich I would have known yesterday since I just bought Faith's Easter dress, but hey maybe we will get lucky and she can have two new spring dresses!
Next, Ribbon Blossoms Chic Boutique is having a great bow package giveaway. They even have something for moms! So head on over and check them out!

Pass it on!
I got this off of one of my friends blogs and I love free stuff so if you do...... I thought it would be kind of fun to do. The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice, for you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations.
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It'll will be done this year (might take a while)
4. You have no clue what it is going to be. It maybe a story. I may draw or paint something. I may bake you something and mail it to you. Who knows. Not you, that's for sure!
5. I reserve the tight to do something extremely strange.
The catch? You must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first five people who do the same. The first five people who do so and leave a comment telling me they did win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me! I know that you all want to join so hurry fast, remember it is only the first five people to respond and then put it on your blog, if you dont' put it on your blog then you don't count!! :) Oh and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it! Good Luck!

Gospel Study and Personal History
So I am trying to decide how I want to do a few things here on my blog. I really like how my friend Rachel has a different theme for each day that she writes about. I have thought about this and have considered doing it many times. I think I am afraid of committing to a schedule though (some things I like to be random on). However I keep thinking of things that I want to such as working on my personal history, Kindness Monday, gospel study topics, etc. that I am not doing because I need someone to be accountable to. So I think I am going to do it and try to be accountable to all of you.
So here is my plan for this blog:
Monday-Kindness Monday dedicated to developing service and caring in myself.
Tuesday- Tell Me The Stories Tuesday dedicated to personal history stories.
Wednesday- WOW Wednesday dedicated to storing ideas that I find and hope to some day be able to try myself.
Thursday-Thoughtful Thursday dedicated to a gospel question or theme that I am researching that week.
Friday- Family Friday dedicated to posting things that have happened in our family that week.
I hope that I will be able to keep up with this, if not well you know how it is. I will start this next week (I have to start researching and thinking of stories).

My First Award!
My wonderful friend Rachel over at Idaho Cheneys awarded me my first award! I am so excited. Thanks Rachel! So first I need to list 5 Fabulous Addictions:
1. Blogging
2. Wii Fit
3. Going to the temple
4. Doing Faith's hair
5. My Family
Then I need to pass this on to 5 Fabulous Blogs:
1. Emily at The Hemming's I love hearing about all the fun things she does with her children and the great things Rainy says.
2. Kassie at Kaselehlia Nicole Heath this is my sister and just started her blog. She is great and started blogging after being convinced to by me. Love ya sis!
3. Valarie at Littlewood Posse always has great pictures of the kids and all the fun happenings at their home.
4. Katee at The Bakes. This a private blog, but I love how she tells the story of her family.
5. Tanya at Orton Smiles all the While writes straight from the heart and is wonderful at seeing all the great gospel lessons in everyday things.
There are a lot more blogs that I read and enjoy and wish I could award all of them!
So the rules are:
1. Pass it on to 5 other fabulous blogs in a post.
2. List 5 of your fabulous addictions in the post.
3. Copy and paste the rules and the instructions below in the post.
Rules and Instructions:
Upon receipt of this award, make sure you include the person that gave you the award and link it back to them. When you post your five winners, make sure you link them as well. To add the award to your post, simply right-click, save image, then "add image" it in your post as a picture so your winners can save it as well. To add it to your sidebar, add the "picture" gadget. Also, don't forget to let your winners know they won an award from you by emailing them or leaving a comment on their blog. So there you go!

Great Finds
This morning I was browsing SugarDoodle and found some great sites. The first one is a template for the Family Proclamation that you can download for free. You insert your pictures and can print it off or send it to be made into a book.
Next is a blog about having a Christ centered Christmas. It is an amazing site full of stories, FHE ideas, recipes, etc. all to help focus on the true meaning of Christmas.
Lastly is a site that has some great homemade gift ideas. It has some great ideas such as cards, ornaments, pictures, etc. Hope you can use some of these resources this Christmas.
