So Much To Do, So Little Time

The family worked hard tonight to start working on the front yard. With the wonderful help of "Grandma" Karen and "Grandpa" Dave, we mixed fertilizer, laid out plants, scraped away rock, dug holes, planted shrubs, fed the transplants, put back the rock, and watered each plant. It was a lot of work but we did make a good dent in the work (we still have so much to do).

Karen, Jesse, and Faith work on planting a barberry bush.

Plants laid out waiting to be planted.
Britain takes a break from digging as Faith mixes the fertilizer and dirt for the next plant.
Robert prepares the yard for cement to widen the sidewalk.
Everyone hard at work!
By the time we finished, we almost finished this section and started on the long strip.
